Apologies Can Be Complicated | Adulting Unadulterated | S2 Ep17
एपिसोड
In this Adulting Unadulterated episode, we ask a question many of us avoid: do you have to forgive someone just because they said sorry? “Maaf kar do yaar” is something many of us have heard growing up. Arsala shares why she believes pressuring someone to forgive can protect the person who caused the hurt more than the person carrying it. Jas talks about the hardest thing she has had to forgive, and why she eventually chose to let it go for her own peace. Together, we explore the apologies we owe and the ones we’re still waiting for; whether you can forgive someone and still feel hurt; why some of us forgive quickly while others carry the pain for longer; and whether we’re responsible for all the hurt our actions cause. Most of us think about the times we’ve been hurt. Fewer of us stop to consider when we might owe someone an apology. And maybe closure isn’t something another person can hand you. Maybe it’s something you build for yourself - with forgiveness that’s yours to give, never theirs to demand. Tune in if you’ve ever been told to “just let it go,” or if you’re still waiting for a sorry that hasn’t come. Trigger warning: This episode has three hosts. Every gym has that one person you eventually end up talking to. For us, it was Natasha Noel. This episode is what happened when we brought that friendship into the studio. From gym crushes and sexual tension to creepy encounters, gym crimes, and deeply personal stories, this conversation goes far beyond the four walls of a gym. Natasha opens up about growing up too soon, carrying the weight of being “the strong one,” and the years of inner work it took to unlearn old patterns and rebuild her relationship with herself. She reflects on healing, choosing acceptance over the pressure to love yourself, and why becoming your own safe place is often the hardest workout of all. Known for her work as a fitness coach, yoga teacher, and creator, Natasha has spent years helping people strengthen their bodies. In this conversation, she shares the equally demanding work of strengthening the mind. This episode moves the way real friendships do.. playful one moment, deeply honest the next. And before you know it, you’re talking about the things you usually keep to yourself. Singer, actor, and woman of trans experience, Rani has spent two decades navigating an industry that was happy to use queerness as a punchline, but rarely as a protagonist. In this conversation, she talks about what it means to enter mainstream cinema not as a moment or a movement, but as an artist who has earned her place. The integrity it takes to know exactly what you can deliver on screen, the courage to stand by it, and what happens to an industry’s imagination when someone like Rani Kohenur refuses to shrink into the role it had already written for her. This conversation explores the space between representation and recognition and what it means to navigate that distance with integrity, resilience, and self-belief.
Modern Indian love is no longer just “arranged” or “love marriage.” It’s somewhere in between awkward talking stages, family involvement, emotional awareness, and trying not to lose your mind in the process. Vipin Yadav and Bibhuti Bhushan, an IIT-alumni couple with a massive online fandom, join us for a fun, honest conversation about modern Indian relationships. From arranged marriages and gender roles to emotional compatibility and personal freedom, they unpack the layers of what relationships actually look like for young Indians today. Because maybe the biggest shift in modern Indian love isn’t who we marry… but finally getting to ask ourselves why we want marriage in the first place and how we can achieve an equal partnership. A poet is a catalyst, a mirror of the human condition. They feel intensely, endure deep pain, and love with a reckless passion in pursuit of sanity. And when a designer uncovers the poet within, something extraordinary happens layers begin to fall, they come undone, the soul ignites, and transforms itself into words. Is poetry, then, the voice of the soul? When Pranav Kirti Mishra speaks, it feels as though we’re not just listening, but engaging directly with the depths of his soul. ⸻ FOLLOW US Instagram: @lovelingopodcast YouTube: Love Lingo Podcast Spotify | Apple | Amazon Music Let’s make love pop again.

Having children used to feel like a milestone. Then somewhere along the way, it became an expectation. This episode sits inside that tension. The quiet pressure. The casual “you’ll regret it.” The assumption that fulfillment has only one shape. This isn’t an episode against motherhood, and it isn’t a celebration of opting out. It’s a conversation about autonomy, about growing into your own clarity, about choosing a life because it feels true to you, not because it was handed to you. There are moments in life where you have to decide whether you’re living from fear, from conditioning, or from awareness. This is one of them. Go for it. Just make sure it’s your choice.
Neeraj Kabi had no godfather. Only his craft and the courage to keep showing up. What does it really take to survive in Bollywood and a city that doesn’t slow down for anyone? This is not a success story told in hindsight. This is a story about the invisible years: the waiting, the humiliation, the odd jobs, the auditions that ended midway, the tears no one saw, and the discipline it took to stay. For over two decades, he chose the harder road; choosing preparation over popularity, depth over speed, and empathy over ego. This conversation explores what rejection really means, why anger can become a weapon, how silence can be more powerful than dialogue, and why an actor must first become deeply human. If you are an aspiring actor. If you are navigating creative doubt. If you are building something no one sees yet. This episode is for you.
We call it the F word because feminism still makes people flinch. In this episode of Love Lingo, we hold the filters and sit with the discomfort that surrounds feminism today, including the idea that there’s no such thing as a perfect feminist. We talk about why so many people distance themselves from the label while benefiting from what it has enabled. We explore how femininity and emotion have been gendered, how self-worth quietly becomes external, and why equality often feels threatening instead of obvious. This isn’t a debate or a manifesto. It’s an honest conversation about power, conditioning, and what feminism actually looks like in everyday life, even when that means being a BAD FEMINIST and still choosing to stay in the work. Unfiltered. Personal. Uncomfortable in the right ways. Watch the full episode now.
A holiday team hang, but with mics on. This episode is just us getting together, playing a few fun games, asking questionable questions, laughing way too much, and doing what we rarely get to do on camera. No agenda, no deep dives, just team energy, chaos, and holiday vibes. Think inside jokes, friendly roasting, loud reactions, cake, and conversations that only happen when the whole team is in the same room. A Love Lingo holiday special, basically.
Video killed the radio star. And social media killed the movie star. In this episode, we explore how celebrity culture has shifted over time, and why it no longer feels as distant, polished, or controlled. From gatekeepers and manufactured auras to influencers, scandals, meme fame, and parasocial relationships, we break down how attention became currency and how eyeballs decide who matters now. We talk about celebrities you once loved and don’t anymore, why a like from a famous person feels way too personal, how weddings turned celebrities into side characters, and why staying a celebrity today is harder than becoming one. This is not a cancellation episode. This is not a hate episode. It’s a conversation about fame, power, attention, and why we’re all slightly obsessed and slightly exhausted. Watch till the end. And yes, celebrities, we still love you. Please come on our show.
Mumbai moves fast, expects more, and rarely lets you pause. Over time, it does something to you. In this episode of Love Lingo, we sit down with Balram Vishwakarma, the founder of the Instagram page AndheriWestShitPosting, to talk about Mumbai Neurosis the constant mental state of surviving in a city that never slows down. From being jobless and closely observing the city, to understanding pop culture, the creative grind, auditions, Aaram Nagar, and the pressure of rent and housing, Balram breaks down what living and creating in Mumbai actually feels like. We talk about ambition, performance, and why the film and creative industry feels unusually stuck right now. The conversation also opens up uncomfortable but real topics like housing bias, class, religion, and how something as simple as your last name can affect your experience in India. This episode does not romanticise Mumbai. It tries to understand it honestly. If you have lived here, tried to make it here, or thought about leaving but stayed, this episode will feel familiar.
In this conversation, Jagjyot opens up about what shaped him long before the world met AapkaJags — the everyday Indian boy who failed 10th and turned to the camera for comfort, who lost his home at thirteen, rebuilt life step by step and eventually created Hapka with his brother. He talks about love, breakups, loneliness and the strange pressure of being a creator who is expected to stay funny even on the days he can barely hold himself together. There are moments that are unexpectedly emotional, moments that are utterly chaotic and moments so hilarious you’ll replay them — from improv scenes that go completely off the rails to a phone-call-with-daadi that melts the entire room. It’s Jagjyot in his most unfiltered form, and it reveals the everyday Indian boy behind the comedy.
Modern dating feels like a full time job. And somehow, everyone is dating but no one is connecting. In this unfiltered Adulting Unadulterated episode, Jas and Arsala deep dive into the love crisis of today, dating app fatigue, the paradox of choice, shifting gender roles, the chaos of situationships, intimacy blocks, and the burnout cycle of building and rebuilding hope. We unpack why it’s getting harder to stay present, why rejection feels heavier today, how people are multitasking through loneliness, and whether monogamy even stands a chance anymore. We even get into the Gen-Z lingo of love : zombieing, floodlighting, and all the micro-behaviours you’ll recognise instantly (and probably cringe at). If you’ve ever felt tired of the apps, confused by mixed signals, or unsure whether deeper connection still exists, this one’s for you. Follow us on Instagram: @lovelingopodcast

She shares deeply personal stories of her own journey, including the relationship that shaped her the most and the moment she finally set herself free.
